A designer, in early year graphic ‘militant’, then a talented art director for Olivetti from 1969 to 1990, first at alongside Sottsass, then Renzo Zorzi. Dealing with campaigns, exhibitions, corporate image. Entrepreneur of communication during the Milanese gold age of the 80s and 90s, and more recently Professor at the Politecnico di Milano and Director at ISIA di Urbino, until 2013. This year we invited him to present his last book “Franco Bucci, Gianni Sassi, Massimo Dolcini, art and culture of the project in the Pesaro of the ’60s and’ 90s” dedicated to three important personality of the Italian design culture.
Polpette event, held by Bcpt and CoMoDo, continues its research on the design and designers capacity to impact society, life and culture. Sometimes this event try accomplish it by looking forward, other years, we pay attention to contemporary design facts and history. A history made by Masters, which ideas and lesson are crucial to remember and not leave to the trend’s oblivion. Next 20th October, we will host Roberto Pieracini, one of the modern living masters of Italian graphic design.
