Even a Region logo is required to interpret and bear a system of shared values, cultural reference, trends and changes, typical of an area such as Umbria. This is why the Regional Identity System needed to be developed further. Commencing from its identifying elements (the three Ceri in Gubbio), it had to be able to develop a new, synthetic and emotional register, where the design did not commemorate, but rather connected and shared. The strong communicative ability of the Seal, one of the Region's symbols, made it the most appropriate tool to reaffirm regional identity and to bring the communication and dynamics of the various territorial values back to a single entity. From here, we went on to design a project around those values, which best identify the regional area and which require a tool to interpret and identify roles and values which cannot be described as simply "institutional". This initial phase was followed by the working design for the Umbrian museum and park communication system.
