The naming imagined for the new Natural Genius collection by Piero Lissoni reflects on the theme of connection between elements.A concept visually expressed by the minimal sign that characterises the entire project. A sign that recalls Japan and the art of Sashimono (指物,差物,挿物), but at the same time reveals itself as a visual seam between past and present.It is therefore from Japanese culture and tradition that the proposal takes its cue. Starting from the geometry of the surface, we imagined a minimal alphabetical code capable of visually recalling the archetypal elements of the project.
